From October to December, further progress has been made in DREP’s all-in-one NFT trading hub, LookFor, with emphases on marketing events and technical advancement. Highlights include LookFor Gem NFT ready for minting, valuable integration of DREP toolkit happened within LookFor Alliance, and the huge expansion of DREP native community and collaborative NFT communities.

Technology side, the biggest advancement lies in the conclusion of the technical deployment of LookFor Gem NFT minting event, DREP Staking Mechanism Optimization, LookFor Function Modules Update and DREP Chain Layer-2 Upgrade.

Ecosystem side, we have more partners onboard LookFor Alliance, including Planckx, OpenGate, Nulink, LAIKA AI, Gameta and X World Games, all leading web3 platforms bringing synergies. Technology

LookFor Gem NFT Ready for Minting

From October to December, the dev team focused on upgrading the smart contracts of LookFor Gem NFT minting event and adjusting and testing various paremeters pertainining to the feature of rarity-driven staking rewards, making it more profitable and easy to use. At the same time, the team finished enhancing the cross-chain interoperability of LookFor Gem NFT and improved the module’s overall compatibility and safety to offer more robust solutions to DREP community members.

DREP Staking Mechanism Optimization

The team finalized the parameters about staking rewards distribution and its relations with NFT rarity levels, and completed auditing and testing of DREP staking smart contracts. The module is now ready to go live.

We also optimized automated staking features to simplify the staking process for users, allowing for the automated reinvestment of rewards. Flexible Staking Options have been perfected as well to accommodate different user preferences, allowing for various staking durations, reward structures, and participation levels.

LookFor Function Modules Update

Based on the first round of partner review and testing, several innovative function modules are in research&development for LookFor:

DREP Chain Layer-2 Upgrade

The tech team is now in the progress of designing the architecture of DREP Chain layer 2. We are working on issues including how it will store and process transactions, how it will communicate with the layer 1 chain, and how it will ensure security and validity of the data.

$DREP Staking Pre-Signup Event Brought Huge Community Growth

In this time-limited event, we successfully garnered over 133k users as the newest community members. Over 10k users showed great interest in $DREP staking and completed pre-sign up by going through KYC verification process, which helped us eliminate any possibilities of automated bot participation. Among them, 9,619 people completed the pre-sign up tasks via DREP Credit and actively claimed DREP pre-signup rewards on BNB Chain.

With our LookFor pre-launch activities including DREP Credit Airdrop Event and social media marketing going smoothly, our presence across different social platforms, including Twitter and Telgeram has also expanded significantly.

Christmas and New Year Incentive Campaign also sees excellent outcome — the event gained 600+ daily active users.
