DREP Monthly Report 12.1–12.31 | DREP Joint Efforts with Binance to Thrive Web3 Economy | DREP Moving towards NFT Paradigm Shift and Backend Revolution

Dear Drepers,

2022 has been a memorable year for DREP Foundation in spite of the inevitable up and down turns in the market, along with upgrading DREP product line 2.0 and DAO toolkit. In order to wipe out potential public concerns, we have shifted DREP’s development structure into a more secure mode for new implementations.

In December, DREP has pushed on continuous Research & Development and community engagement. Here is a solid update of what we have accomplished last month:

Technological side, our highlight of December is the upgrade of DREP NFT Product in an effort to pursue better product-market fit. As the user experience has changed markedly during the past few months, DREP team has redirected the resources to a more scalable and functionality-rich application before shipping the 1.0 prototype online.

Ecosystem side, DREP has taken a further step to accelerate the growth of DREP ecology. Binance empowered $DREP community with favorable advantages in Binance Football Fever Event, and DREP Turkish community has gained unprecedented popularity this month, with a total increase of 22x in activity.

Technology

DREP Financial Tools for Hybrid NFT Ecosystem

NFT is a crucial part of the digital economy, which can provide ownership and provenance over digital assets in the crypto world. DREP has ideated the NFT-based DID model as a Web3 foundation ever since the year of 2021. Although the crypto market took a serious hit in 2022, the NFT market has held up fairly well along with the vigorous evolution of NFT Financialization crossed with gaming, art, music and DeFi industries.

Combining the innovative power of NFT and Web3 market needs, DREP team has schemed on more efficient financial tools to amplify the NFT market. This is based on the 1.0 prototype of DREP NFT Protocol and baffling concerns behind the market hype. To facilitate NFT’s mass adoption, DREP will build towards a more structured coverage of NFT activity and growing DeFi economy, bringing valuable effects for the whole web3 ecosystem.

DREP & Binance Joining Hands for Web3 Accessibility

As one of the significant contributors of Binance Football Fever 2022, DREP is brought to the front of over 90 million Binance users worldwide. $1,000,000 rewards are distributed to the global community till the World Cup winner was unfolding. Besides the very exciting moment, DREP has been playing a marvelous role in various activities of Binance, including Binance Saving Programs, Referral Program 2022, Turkish Community AMA, etc. Following adding a new pair of $DREP / $BUSD in May, DREP has driven a further influence among Binance ecosystem.

DREP is a fundamental project building practical toolkit for web3. After the DeFi+NFT infrastructure has debuted, it clicked with Binance’s vision of ‘increasing freedom for all’. Despite the market volatility, we keep our delivery of products and insights, and hope that our achievements would meet the exponential demand for Web3 and benefit the world. In the year ahead, DREP will continue bringing on this collaborationship with Binance to thrive the crypto world and enable a web3 infrastructure.

Fresh off the announcement of DREP Web3 Ecosystem Funding, DREP community scale globally in a continuous state, among which Turkish community has reached an exceptional growth rate at 280% on Telegram, and 22x followings in total across all DREP Turkish social media.

Build and grow a positive community is an intricate process, however, DREP team will always ensure that we have put enough in social listening and work at our best to bring real benefits to our community members and all $DREP holders. Only through this way, DREP’s vision and values can create mass worldwide exposure, which will energize us to pursue new milestones.
