Dear DREPers,

In January, the DREP team focused on the development of DREP ecosystem.

In terms of technical products, DREP will be announcing the brand new DREP 2.0 product line to our community very soon. As DREP’s basic infrastructure, the DREP public chain has been further improved. The security of the DREP wallet has been enhanced, in which the wallets configured by block-generating-nodes will be closed by default and only be unlocked and begin generating blocks after the node has been initiated. Nodes’s block generation has been optimized with the node configuration process being simplified. With this improvement, the monitoring nodes no longer need to be configured with the default address to synchronize the block data. The DREP explorer continues to optimize block display and compress the page size to further improve access speed, deliver block query results to users and developers at a faster speed, and optimize the overall user experience.

In terms of the ecosystem, DREP has formed a partnership with Europe’s leading hybrid blockchain platform LTO Network, aiming to enable DeFi ecosystems between Europe and Asia through decentralized identities. Through the partnership, DREP will cooperate with LTO Network to build a GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation) compliant decentralized identities(DID) platform. In addition, following its official launch in December and its initial mining, Tenet, the DeFi product incubated by DREP Signal Labs, officially launched the BEP20 — ERC20 Bridge on January 16th, and implemented several adjustments to the Mining Model of TEN based on users feedback with regards to a synchronization of mining rewards on the ETH and BSC. Recently, Tenet has also formed partnerships with BakerySwap and Battle Pets to hold the Big Give Out Carnival event from January 29 to February 8. During this period, users will have the opportunities to receive numerous rewards through liquidity farming on both Tenet Farm and BakerySwap.

  • Optimized block display.
  • Compressed the page size to improve access speed.

Ecosystem

During this period, users will have the opportunities to receive numerous rewards through liquidity farming on both Tenet Farm and BakerySwap.

DREP Partnered with LTO Network to Build a GDPR DID Platform

DREP and LTO Network have recently reached a partnership with shared goals of enabling DeFi ecosystems between EU and Asia through decentralized identities. LTO Network is Europe’s leading hybrid blockchain platform that combines private chains and a public Leased-Proof-of-Stake blockchain to enable General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) compliant blockchain solutions. Through the partnership, DREP will cooperate with LTO Network to build a GDPR compliant decentralized identities platform. The new platform will be connected with DREP DID and DREP Reputation Protocol to utilize each other’s strength, provide a simpler and easier DApp deployment, expand the reach and possibilities not just in tech but also in the general business developments.

TENET Launched BEP20-ERC20 Bridge, optimized TEN’s Mining Model

Following its official launch in December and its initial mining, Tenet, the DeFi product incubated by DREP Signal Labs, officially launched the BEP20 — ERC20 Bridge on January 16th, and implemented several adjustments to the Mining Model of TEN based on users feedback with regards to a synchronization of mining rewards on the ETH and BSC. For instance, after the initial mining period ends for TEN, the remaining amount of TEN for mining and block generation rate will be readjusted to be the same on both the Ethereum and BSC blockchains. Meanwhile, Tenet introduced several new requirements to deal with some questionable Liquidity Taps recently created on Tenet to attract LPs. Once a Liquidity Tap is created successfully, it will be displayed in a section either approved by the team officially, or not yet approved by us officially. Also, the fee for creating a Liqudiuty Tap will be increased to 100 TEN.

Tenet Partnered with BakerySwap & Battle Pets for Big Give Out Event

Tenet has also established partnerships with BakerySwap and Battle Pets to hold the Big Give Out Carnival event from January 29 to February 8. BakerySwap is the first AMM+NFT exchange on Binance Smart Chain. It is also the first Binance Smart Chain AMM to offer alt-coin liquidity pools (LPs). ‘Battle Pets’ is a brand new blockchain-based pet battle game, which is a game of incubating, growing, fighting, and exchanging pets. The liquidity taps of $BAKE and $PET went live on bsc.tenet.farm on January 29. During the event period, participants will have opportunities to enjoy liquidity farming and harvest various great rewards. A total of $10,000 worth of $BAKE, $2,500 worth of $PET and $TEN will be given away as rewards.

The above is the DREP team’s monthly report for January 2021. DREP will keep up the good work and follow the planned roadmap to further advance DREP’s technical and ecological development, achieving more ground-breaking applications. Thanks to the members of the DREP community for their attention and support!
